The Yes! Fund for Kids is here to help families interested in utilizing the Tuition Tax Credit program. Grants and Scholarships made by Yes! can only be used for tuition for a child attending a Kindergarten through 12th grade private school in the state of Arizona. Families may apply to Yes! Fund for three types of awards:
GRANTS: Grants are awarded monthly from funds in which a donor recommends a specific child. The recommendation of the donor will be considered in determining the grant allocation, however, all final decisions in awarding grants/scholarships is at the discretion of the Yes! Fund Board of Directors.
SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarships are distributed in February each year from funds in which an individual donor contributes to our general non-recommended fund. These scholarships are awarded based primarily on financial need and therefore a copy of the parents most recently submitted tax form(pages 1 & 2 only) is required. December 31 is the deadline to submit scholarship applications.
CORPORATE SCHOLARSHIPS: Distribution date to be determined as funds are available. Scholarships are awarded based primarily on financial need and therefore a copy of the parents most recently submitted tax form(pages 1&2) is required. Further eligibility requirements per the State of Arizona include:
1. The child is entering kindergarten in a qualified private school.
or
2. The student attended a public or charter school as a full-time student for 100 days of the prior school year and is transferring to a qualified private school full time.

The family must not exceed the income limit listed on the following chart:

Simple steps to be tuition free:
1. Educate yourself about the program. The Arizona Tuition Tax Credit Program gives YOU the unique opportunity to raise support for your child's education. Did you know that with a little planning on your part, you can reduce your child's tuition to almost nothing? It's true-if 4 donors each make $1000 tax credit contributions and recommend* your child, at least 97% or $3,880 will be awarded to him/her as a tuition grant!
2. Communicate the advantages of the program to your friends, family, and business associates. Remember you're not asking them for a donation; you are asking them to re-direct the taxes they already owe to the state by making a dollar-for-dollar tax credit contribution to Yes! Fund. Start by printing donation brochures(pdf) from this web site or picking one up from your childs school. A personalized letter is also a valuable tool to inform others about the program. 3. Enjoy the school year without the stress of tuition payments. In order to be eligible to receive a grant or scholarship, you must complete a Grant/Scholarship Application Form(pdf) for each child. If also applying for a Corporate Scholarship, than you must complete a Corporate Scholarship Application Form(pdf) in addition to the regular Grant/Scholarship Application Form. Please send your completed application(s) to Yes! Fund for Kids, Inc. The application(s) is valid for the entire school year and a new application is required for each school year.
